IT PROJECT MANAGER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist Technical Team in Design and Development Tasks:

Collaborate with developers, architects, and other technical team members to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and understood.
Provide guidance and support on technical issues, ensuring alignment with project goals and technical standards.
Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and requirements.

Share Your Experience with Other Team Members:

Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and workshops to improve team skills and performance.
Foster a collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning and improvement.

Utilize Software Life-Cycle Methodology:

Apply appropriate software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) based on project requirements and constraints.
Ensure adherence to the chosen methodology throughout the project life cycle, from initiation through to completion.
Continuously evaluate and refine processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Create and Maintain Information Technology Project Plan:

Develop detailed project plans that outline tasks, milestones, deadlines, and resource allocation.
Monitor and update the project plan regularly to reflect progress, changes, and any issues that arise.
Communicate project status to stakeholders, ensuring they are informed of progress, risks, and adjustments.

Coordinate Delivery of Development (Beta) and Production Releases:

Oversee the release management process to ensure timely and successful deployment of development and production releases.
Coordinate with quality assurance (QA) teams to ensure releases meet defined quality standards and criteria.
Manage release schedules, ensuring minimal disruption to users and aligning with business objectives.

Assist Test Team in Creating Test Plans and Testing Efforts:

Collaborate with the testing team to develop comprehensive test plans that cover functional, performance, and security aspects.
Support the testing process by providing necessary resources, clarifications, and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Monitor testing progress and ensure that any defects or issues identified are addressed promptly.

REQUIREMENTS

Practical project management experience in at least 2 projects in the IT field for 3+ years
Solid understanding of project management processes and best practices
Strong leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills, willingness to take responsibility
Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, Jira workflow
Deep understanding of each role on the project
Experience with various types of testing including unit testing
Passion for modern software development approaches and tools
Good English language skills
To be flexible and able to work at different projects with different technologies
