SALES TEAM LEAD

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales professionals to foster a collaborative, high-performing environment.
  • Set clear performance goals, track progress, and conduct regular feedback and performance reviews.
  • Address team challenges and identify areas for improvement to enhance overall performance.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new team members, ensuring alignment with company standards.
  • Prepare and present daily and monthly reports on sales metrics, call traffic, and team performance.
  • Manage freelance queries and support call center operations as needed.

Sales Performance & Quality Assurance

  • Monitor key sales metrics such as revenue, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of sales calls, providing constructive feedback and coaching on techniques and communication skills.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales processes and exceed revenue targets.
  • Ensure the team consistently delivers exceptional customer interactions and high-quality service.

Sales Strategy & Process Optimization

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and refine sales strategies.
  • Develop and execute sales training programs to enhance team skills and product knowledge.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and partnership teams to align sales efforts with broader company goals.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, adopting innovative methodologies to optimize sales workflows.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related fields.
  • 3+ years in sales, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in the online travel industry and familiarity with call center operations is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and mentoring abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trends.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, sales automation tools, and IP-telephony systems.
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies like solution and consultative selling.
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are advantageous).
