PPC DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a PPC Digital Marketing Manager.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a strategic and data-driven PPC Digital Marketing Manager to lead and oversee our paid advertising ecosystem. This is a high-impact role focused on performance, profitability, and revenue growth. You will act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external agencies, ensuring all paid media initiatives deliver qualified traffic, conversions, and measurable ROI / ROAS. While this role is primarily strategic and supervisory, strong technical expertise and the ability to step into hands-on execution when needed are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Agency Oversight & Strategic Direction

  • Direct and manage external digital marketing agencies handling our Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, Tiktok Ads and other PPC accounts.
  • Provide clear strategic recommendations to ensure agency campaigns are tightly aligned with overall business objectives and growth targets.
  • Review, challenge, and approve media plans, budget allocations, and bidding strategies proposed by the agency.
  • Guide external partners on effective account structures, keyword strategies, and audience targeting to maximize efficiency.

Auditing & Performance Optimization

  • Conduct regular, in-depth audits of agency-managed accounts to ensure adherence to best practices, identify inefficiencies, and uncover new scaling opportunities.
  • Critically analyze key metrics (CPC, CPA, CTR, Conversion Rate, and ROAS), independently verifying agency performance data.
  • Oversee and approve A/B testing roadmaps for ad copy, bidding strategies, and audience segments.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to the agency for optimizing ads, extensions, targeting, and landing pages.

Hands-On Campaign Management

  • Maintain the technical expertise required to directly build, manage, and optimize campaigns within Google Ads as future business needs evolve.
  • Step in to execute keyword research, budget allocation, ad creation, and daily bid management during transitional periods or for specialized in-house projects.

Tracking, Analytics & Reporting

  • Oversee the accuracy of conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager, GA4, and Google Ads, collaborating with internal tech teams and agencies to resolve data gaps.
  • Analyze customer journeys and funnel performance to extract strategic insights beyond standard agency reporting.
  • Consolidate external data to prepare internal, executive-level performance reports featuring independent insights and proactive recommendations.
  • Continuously test and evaluate various marketing attribution measurement approaches.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the connective tissue between the external agency and internal Performance, SEO, CRM, Product, and Analytics teams to ensure cross-channel synergy.
  • Facilitate workflows between internal creative teams (designers, copywriters) and the agency to continuously improve and supply high-performing ad creatives.
  • Align KPIs, forecast performance, and manage budget expectations with company leadership and internal stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years of experience in PPC / Performance Marketing.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max, YouTube).
  • Experience managing or auditing external agencies.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and maintain strict ROAS targets.
  • Advanced knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to turn data into strategy.
  • Confident communication skills and ability to challenge partners constructively.
  • Execute a proactive approach to work and initiatives.
  • Fluent English.
